La Guerra Musical are seasoned veterans that originated in 1975 with accordionist/vocalist, David Valadez leading the group. Their first album was released on Hacienda Records in 1979, and this new release "Vamos A Gozar" is a special tribute because it signifies the 30th anniversary of La Guerra Musical.

The group peaked in popularity in the mid 80's, and was in constant demand for bookings and regularly toured with such artists as Sunny & The Sunliners, Roberto Pulido, Little Joe and many others. La Guerra Musical during those years recorded for such labels as Sunny Ozuna's, Key Lock Records in San Antonio, Little Joe's "Brown Sound and Hacienda Records.
